Bill Memorial Library Presents Creative Cupcakes
On Thursday, July 9th at 6:00 P.M. teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to the Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton to get creative with cupcakes. Pastry Chef Angie Leandri will teach you frosting and cake-decorating techniques to create simple decorations. Registration is required for this program—please call the library at 860-445-0392 to sign up.
Library hours are Monday and Thursday, 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Saturday, 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Celebrating 50 Years of VISTA Service in Connecticut

Join AmeriCorps VISTA members and alums, project sponsors, and supporters for a reception and program to celebrate 50 years of AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America).
The event will feature an opening reception, refreshments, and a short program. Real Art Ways also has a cash bar for those who may be interested in purchasing beer or wine during the event. There is free parking in the Real Art Ways parking lot.
