Jumping For Jonnycakes
On April 15th there will be an evening of fun for all ages at The Knickerbocker Cafe benefiting the Johnnycake Center of Westerly. Performances include Johnny and the East Coast Rockers, The Shiny Lapel Trio, The AlCopley Band, Sugar Ray and the Bluetones, with special guest Greg Piccolo. Cash bar and food available. Tickets are $20 and available at jonnycake.org/events.

 

Annual Benefit For The Jonnycake Center
Friday May 18th, there will be a benefit for the Jonnycake Center at the Haversham House in Westerly from 5:30-8:30p.m. $125 per person, includes open bar, generous tasting stations, live and silent auctions, and live entertainment. Pre-registration is required. 

 

Agent Orange Town Hall Meeting
There will be an agent orange town hall meeting on Saturday June 9th sponsored by RI Chapter 273, Vietnam Veterans of America. Attendees will learn of benefits and services that may be available to those who served in Vietnam or their family. This will start at 1:00p.m. at the Warwick town Hall in Warwick, RI.

Art on Groton Bank is releasing a Call to Artists:
Seeking Fine Arts, Sculpture, Jewelry, Textiles, Photography and Authors.  Art on Groton Bank, a yearly festival, takes place at the historic Bill Memorial Library in Groton, Connecticut on June 9th 10am-4pm. Exhibit space is available on the spacious lawns of the library grounds. This relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting enjoys vistas of the Thames River. Sites available on the grounds for this year’s Art on Groton Bank event. The Poquonnock Bridge Baptist Church will be hosting a tag sale with a bake sale Friday April 20th and Saturday April 21st from 9:00a.m-2:00p.m.
